I’m not sure how representative the Iron City Beer is of the brewery, but this was certainly not an impressive beer at all. *sigh* pale lagers still suck. Although it looks like this brewery does have a pale lager in the 95th percentile of its style. I’ll be on the lookout for more Iron City lagers in the future. rayg1 (438), Ft. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 5, 2006 This beer is to be blunt not good. Not worth it if you are going to go this cheap on beer, I think PBR is better. No head, pale yellow, and tasted kinda metallic. I honestly just drank this with a girl I picked up because she was hot and I just ordered what she had. VitaminR (438), Colorado, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 26, 2008 Grassy nose, some cornmeal. Golden color with a decent head. Bitter stale biscuit flavor--not necessarily a bad thing. Nicely carbonated, with a not bad herbal sourdough finish. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 23, 2005 Aluminum bottle. Pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of grains and grass. Flavor of corn and sweetener with a slight hint of malt. Even has a bit of hops bitterness in the finish. For the price, not bad but certainly nothing special. raphael (417), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Oct 27, 2008 I grew up on this stuff. Aroma of corn, light hopes. Urine pale yellow (the color its supposed to be, yes?) Has a slight flavor. dmtroyer (412), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Oct 30, 2008 16oz. Pours a clear straw body with a white head. Aroma is fairly muted... mostly sweet corn flakes. Body follows with similar flavors but a surprisingly malty presence. Has a very bad rap, mostly from Pennsylvanians... I didn’t think it was that bad.
