Unfortunately that’s all that was outstanding about this beer. Corn and grain aroma. Corn adjunct and grainy taste. Unpleasent roughness. Nothing here to make me want to buy another one. I will keep the bottle though caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 15, 2005 Neat aluminum bottle, at least you know it’s not going to be lightstruck. Poured a disappointing pale color with weak head. Wet cardboard aroma. Sweet, cheap lager flavor. Flat texture. Boring. Pity. Bottle is the best part. b33r (363), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 13, 2005 Poured from the sweet aluminum can. Pale yellow body with medium white head. Medium carbonation. Aroma of light sweet corn. Light, thin sour hop flavor. Not bad, but doesn’t really offer much. Goblincat (357), Westland, Michigan, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Really cool bottle. Somehow managed to get lightly skunked even though there is no way light could get in... Maybe it was done on purpose at the brewery. Sweet malt, sour fruit, and light skunk combine. Looking past the skunk, there might be a beer similar in taste to Fat Tire or Dos Equis. sirpsycho (355), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 19, 2009 Bottle. Pours a sparkling gold, very fine white head, leaves some lacing. Grain, corn, grass and vague hops sum up the aroma. Flavor is mostly malt, some hops and a touch of corn. Finish is very crisp, has a touch of bitterness. pkbites (340), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Nice color; deep yellow. Not dark or orange, but not watery yellow.
Fair aroma. Lots of flavor, bold, but not overall good. That is to say, it's not watered down, I'm just not overly found of the taste. Kind of a funny- malty/stale yeast taste.
I'm so used to American beer being watered down, then I find one that ain't and I don't really like it. But I don't exactly hate it either.
