Jun 27, 2006 Nice bottle, but otherwise very disappointing. Its yellow with a small white head. Overly carbonated. Smells sweet, mildly fruity. Tastes similar but really watery. Its thirst quenching- but then again, I’d rather just drink water!

Feb 20, 2008 16 oz. bottle purchased at Central Market in Mill Creek, WA. Pours a golden yellow, with a head that quickly goes away. This one is okay, but nothing special.

Nov 17, 2007 Not the worst thing out there. Pours a light head with a straw color. More malty than anything. Is it an expensive IPA? No, but no worse or better than a large macro lager.

Oct 23, 2001 come on, this beer is Pittsburgh. The flavor is as good as any American standard beer and it beats Bud or Coors any day. It’s clean and refreshing, a little heavier than most of its type. When in Rome (or Pittsburgh) do as the locals do. Drink Iron City. No visit to Pittsburgh would be complete without enjoying an I.C.

Nov 7, 2004 nice overall beer, faint scent of something, nice color with snow white head that dissapates quickly.tastes of malt and corn with something of a hop nip at the end, not strong enough to be called an actual bite. The fact that I am watching the steeler/eagle game probably helps this beer on a nostaglia stand point

Sep 2, 2008 Bottle (aluminum). Light yellow color with minimal hop taste. Flavor is suprisingly better than most mass-produced lagers, although light on the bitter side. I would drink this over Bud, Miller, and Coors on any day.

Jul 14, 2008 better than i was expecting. lite golden color, no real head to speak of. kinda malty, cereal-like with some corn sweetness to follow. a finishing aftertaste of sour bread. was ok, probably would be alright if i lived in PA and it was cheap and plentiful. otherwise pretty much forgettable.
