Leaves a strange aftertaste in the mouth. Carbonation is sharp. Not what I expect from a classic. POD (198), USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | May 13, 2006 I bought a six pack bottles for $2.99 in Southern Ohio. Poured the first cold one into a pislner glass. The aroma was faint hops scent. Little to no aftertaste. Flavor was very watery w/nothing special to remember. However, it served fine for quenching my thirst (ala gatorade) on a hot spring day. It was worth the 50 cents a bottle that I paid for it. beerluvindave (194), Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, USA

Although I will admit, on a tour of the brewery, I tried it straight from the source - one of the most amazing hoppy lagers ever! Too bad it doesn't taste like that from the bottle! Maybe you could use this stuff to kill slugs in the garden, but that would be cruelty to animals. mstockton (186), Rochester, Michigan, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 31, 2004 Not too bad, but I actuall like IC Light better. This is what I would call a "burger beer." It is not rotgut, but it’s nothing special. Then again, when in Pittsburgh, it would be silly to drink Bud or Miller when this is available. GirlyBeer (183), Biddeford, Maine, USA
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Came in one of those bottle-cans. Very clear and yellow. Almost no head at all. Very uninteresting with very little hop character and some grain character, but not a malty flavor. This is one of those beers that fits very well into the "domestic american lager" category. ghostmonkey (182), budd lake, New Jersey, USA
