Jan 3, 2009 Bottle. Clear yellow with little head. Malty smell. Taste is malty with light hops with a strange metallic finish. I guess the name Iron city fits haha. Not horrible.

Nov 28, 2002 Iron City is the classic standard for a pittsburgher. If your not from pittsburghy you love it, if your from pittsburgh, you’ve already drank enough of it by the time your 13 to not ever want it again.

Jan 13, 2006 Aluminum bottle. Light golden color, looks thin and watery, head dissapated quickly until it all pretty much disappeared. Weak aroma, almost non-existant. Taste isn’t overly offensive, but also offers nothing of value either. Body is very thin, with some carbonation; it reminded me more of drinking mineral/sparkling water. On the plus side, the bottle has a picture of 2005 Hall of Famer Dan Marino, so I can only assume drinking this beer will allow me to accomplish his Herculean feats. Otherwise, this is just bad.

May 4, 2007 Pours fizzy and yellow. The aroma is bland and lifeless. The watery taste is of very mild malt and a touch of hops. The finish is equally unimpressive.
