Bottle. Aroma doesn’t really standout much. Color is golden with a decent head while pouring. Better than Bud by far.

There is not much to be said about Iron City. It’s not the greatest beer out there but it’s also far from the worst I’ve had. Give it a try.

Cool 12 oz aluminum bottle that pours a clear straw golden with a decent fizzy white head that doesn’t last very long, does leaves some lacing, light grainy and flowery aromas (no skunk). Sweet bready, grassy and grainy flavors, light bodied with a thin and watery mouthfeel, finishes with some sweetness, alright for what it is.

Pint. Pours clear yellow/gold with a small head. No lacing. Nose is weak..typical corn lager aroma. Taste is actually better than i expected. Very inoffensive, adjuncts are not overwhelming or pissy. I would take this any day of Bud, pabst, Coors, Miller or any of the typical crap macros.

Being from Pittsburgh, this beer scores higher for that reason. I can’t be un-bias when I say this is the best pale lager around (not that that says alot). This is a blue collar beer that tastes great in quantity while saying "yinz" and "dahntahn".

Aug 2007. An enjoyable treat from the east. Thanks Uncle Dave. Not bad for a mass produced beer, better then a Bud/Coors/Miller. Not available in Montana; and I like to have something from Pittsburgh when watching the pre-season.

Grassy nose, some cornmeal. Golden color with a decent head. Bitter stale biscuit flavor--not necessarily a bad thing. Nicely carbonated, with a not bad herbal sourdough finish.
