Clear golden color with little or no head. Light aroma. Crisp, watered down, typical American Standard. Nothing overly special about this beer. piscator34 (1131), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Some malty aromas to this one, along with a touch of corn. Fairly malty in flavor as well, with some faint notes of caramel and earthy hops. It’s basically a half-step up from your typical North American macro, but nothing worth celebrating. Cool aluminum bottle though. Thanks to radiomgb for the interesting extra. nick76 (2669), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 3, 2005 Very true to type. Taste is more robust than most macro lagers. No surprises here. Aroma is malt with some hops. Appearance is golden with a thin head. Flavor is sweet and bitter with some corn. Palate is better than average for a lager. No complexity, but not bad. Earlier Rating: 1/16/2005 Total Score: 1.9 ALUMINUM BOTTLE I found this beer to be much less sweet than Stoneys which we drank side by side during the Steelers win. However it had much less flavor too. It’s not quite as bland as I remember from years past, My guess is most all macros have cranked it up a notch. Tmoney99 (4764), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Light grass hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a bitter finish of short duratoin. Better than my expectations. Knew full well it was nowhere near a “craft brew”. Its sweet and mild cereal malts. No hops or bitterness that I can detect. Lawnmower beer on a par with PBR. At least its drinkable, and not as watery as a Bud Light.
