Thanks to my co-worker Helen for bringing this back from Pittsburgh for me. Pours a very light yellow with a lot of visible carbonation and a proud snow white head. Aroma: Corn, malt some rubber(like the inside of a new plastic pencil case) and a tiny hint of unripe fruit. Flavour: Sweet, some definite corn notes, light malt, slight metallic finish. Not great but would drink it over say - Budweiser any day! Thanks Helen :-)

Bottle. What a way to finish off a bad day of work. Pours a golden nectar with a soda like diminishing white head. Skunk, malt extract, some earth and corn galore. Taste is a little better than the aroma much like your classic macro lager.

Bottle, not too bad, pretty basic for a pale lager, tastes better than the bmc crap. Watery, with a slighty darker yellow color. Basic light matls, hops are non existant. Reminds me of drummond bros.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Pours a golden color with almost no head but a continual supply of carbonation. That’s rather an oxymoron. Aroma of roasted malts. Thin mouth feel. Taster is kind of grassy and bready with some vague hops. I do enjoy trying the classic names from time to time even though they’re rarely top of the line. But it’s drinkable enough.

Bottle. I’ve never seen this is a bottle before. I feel like I should put on a Franco Harris jersey and wave a Terrible Towel while drinking it. Pours a clear yellow with a 2 finger quickly dissipating snow white head and spotty lacing. Nose is grain and light hops. Taste is malt, some light hops and a slight metallic finish. Light mouth feel. Not good.

16oz. Pours a clear straw body with a white head. Aroma is fairly muted... mostly sweet corn flakes. Body follows with similar flavors but a surprisingly malty presence. Has a very bad rap, mostly from Pennsylvanians... I didn’t think it was that bad.

remember seeing this beer as a kid withthe pittsburgh steelers on the can Gold colour, poor head retention, a few tiny bubbles stuck to the edge of the glass then totally vanished. Aroma was corny, a little grain. Very light in the flavour dept, weak citrus note, thin malt and corn. Thin body, average carboantion. Corny grainy clinging aftertaste

Bottle (aluminum). Light yellow color with minimal hop taste. Flavor is suprisingly better than most mass-produced lagers, although light on the bitter side. I would drink this over Bud, Miller, and Coors on any day.
