Plane sweetness in the nose, touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, sweet but shallow malt, slightly acidic, alcoholic medium. Short finish. Very simplistic lager, with noticeable alcohol which is strange for such weak brew.

hell of a lot better than IC light.....but still it’s like having a glass of water with a few extra ingredients. actual beer ingredients dont make themselves known

(355 aluminum BOTTLE) Purchased at the LCBO in Ottawa, ON. Pours a highly carbonated, deep golden body with a quick dissipating, white head. Nose is full-on TIN - like the bottle. A very syrupy sweet and corn flavour. Finishes somewhat clean. The nose is such a turn-off though...

Bottle. I used to drink this frequently back in my PA days, but I found it in FL so heres my rating. Clear straw colored pour with a decent white head. Aroma is mostly just grainy with a little hop presence. Has a grainy malty flavor, a little bit like rice crispies. Not great but alot better than the big guys AB, Coors, and MGD. Non offensive and easy drinking.

Bottle/can (12oz?). Anyone else have a problem with "iron" city beer in an "aluminum" cottle/ban? Anyway, with a rough pour only managed a weak fizzy white head that disappeared before I put the opener down - I could smell the corn and skunk from almost 2 feet away (I have long arms). There’s grain, some stale hops, even sour fruit, but nothing I smell makes me want to drink. But it’s a rating ... tastes like overly sweet generic lager with no carbonation or real flavour. No linger, nothing. Not awful, but why not just drink tapwater?

Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is weird. Tastes like stale hops with a bit of mold. Leaves a strange aftertaste in the mouth. Carbonation is sharp. Not what I expect from a classic.

Bottle. Poured pale yellow with fast dissipating head. Aroma of adjunct and malt. Thin malty flavour. Almost no finish. Cheap, but not good cheap.
