Aroma is mostly benign with a light corn syrup aroma. Flavor is likewise, begins with almost no flavor and finishes with sweet corn, like that creamed corn in a can stuff, yuck. Don’t be sucker of the slick aluminum bottle packaging. Pass on this unless you absolutely must have another rating. I do now. GregClow (2500), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pale yellow colour, tiny head. Unoffensive macro-style aroma and flavour, with grain and corn notes. Bland, bland, bland. flemdawg (485), Naples, Florida, USA

Golden in color with a monstous initial white head that died to nothing very quickly. A hint of malts and hops in the aroma along with a touch of fruitiness. But the corn and other "good" stuff dominates. Ditto for the flavor, corn, rice, and the mearest of hops and malts. I could actually drink more than one of these at a time, but I don’t think I would respect myself in the morning. ¾ (5003), Colorado, USA

Anyways, this beer is not quite repulsive, but the joke around my town is that it's that good Pittsburgh water that makes it taste SO good. If you're out for a night in western PA and this stuff is cheaper than Bud, you can't go wrong. Then again, if you're out for the night and drinking Bud, you're already pretty far in the wrong. So, on balance, the price of this beer is its own recommendation. If you drink macrolager in the first place, this is an economical place to start. GonZoBeeR (2163), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

Had a caramelly flavor that I thought was actually a nice change for pale lager. If you are swilling. Iron City will do in a pinch. Has sort of a cult following for the transplanted Pittsburgers here in KC. I’d choose it over some.
