Feb 20, 2007 Everytime I pull one of these cold ones back, all I can think about is sitting at Moe’s, pulling up a stoll between Homer and Barney. It’s a blue collar beer, with a crisp, dry mouthfeel and slightly sweet palate. Pairs best with gravy fries and shots of cheap whiskey.

Jul 14, 2008 better than i was expecting. lite golden color, no real head to speak of. kinda malty, cereal-like with some corn sweetness to follow. a finishing aftertaste of sour bread. was ok, probably would be alright if i lived in PA and it was cheap and plentiful. otherwise pretty much forgettable.

May 19, 2009 Mmmmm... can at Redlight. I might have shotgunned this one, as I have the tendency to do that to pale lagers. I’m sure this tasted just like the rest of them out there, but it went down so fast, and so cold, that I can’t really remember. I’m just writing this to get the tick and it was in my book.

Sep 2, 2009 Not a bad yard beer. Good flavor for a light lager. Pours very little veil and finishes weak. Better choice than Bud or Coors.

Aug 3, 2004 Bottle. Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, Cornish and sweet. A medium bodied lager. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet, corn and rice. Hops are mild and slightly bitter. Fairly neutral tasting beer. No really objectionable flavors. Not bad for a macro. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Mar 4, 2005 pours with a nice head, a little lace, nose is sweet, beery, a hint of hop, and some corn. Flavor is about what you’d expect. Better than the average for a micro, although I’d prefer a little less sweetness and a bit more hop. The one I’m drinking now is from a 12 oz can, which I picked up at the Bodega. I think all they have is stock on hand and not much left.

Nov 26, 2007 Had this beer on 12/29/2005. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and smooth. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a smooth feel. Finish is a light malt flavor backed by a faint bitterness and hop flavor. Reminds me a bit of Miller High Life. Not bad for a Pale Lager.
