Golden colour with lots of lace. Bitter more than malty, and drying finish. While nothing to come back for, better than average for their product line.Kent Golding came through Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2006 A slightly above average beer from a local brew pub (although a "flagship" beer, I find it overrated). Pretty standard and likeable, although not much stands out. Good malty and hoppy blend that you can’t find much fault in - maybe a tad bitter with a touch of citrus. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 27, 2006 Draught sample, Wilmington DE location. Good lacing and a nice creamy head tops a clear amber-gold body....biscuity, lightly caramel-sweetened aroma with hints of dry woody hops, a touch of floral (dogwood) scent, rosemary....decent pale malty body, lightly sweet upfront and drying significantly at the finish, moderately bitter, but overall the mouthfeel kills this, far too watery and weak. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 19, 2006 Many drafts at a dinner/dance benefit in Delaware County PA. Was expecting nothing but Miller Lite, Coors and Bud. But was luckily surprised when I found out they got a keg from Iron Hill donated. Out of the 700 people attending I think about 5 of us were handling this keg on our own...ML line was huge though. Pours a golden copper with an sustaining off white foamy head. Aroma was on the lighter side some caramel, citrus, malt and grains. Flavors of toasted malts, citrus and some other fruits. illinismitty (1799), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Draft at West Chester. I could not pick up much aroma. Pours copper. Very British caramel flavor, but with little sweetness. Spicy bitter hop finsih with some soapiness. A bit heavy on the Kent Goldings for the true English pub style bitter in my opinion.
