| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2005 Had on cask and regular draft at the westchester location. Very nice english style overall. Not enough good examples can be found here in this country. Pours a medium amber with a nice fluffy white head but fades. Aroma is a bit malty, with some hops but the main thing is the english yeasty fruitiness which is hard for some breweries to get right. Flavor is very rich in malt, lots of delicate fruitiness, and backed by a slightly floral and earthy hop bitterness. Very nice creamy mouthfeel for both pours and a smooth finish. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 13, 2005 Had this in a plastic cup from the tap on the street at the Iron Hill bike race in West Chester. Carbonated copper color with a frothing white head (fresh keg). Hoppy and caramel aroma with a sweet but balanced hoppy bitterness. A bit thin/watery, but tasted good on a hot day. Mild fruity tang and light hop aroma, sort of malty and beany. Medium amber-gold clear with thin foamy lacing off-white head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Smooth drinkability. Starts fruity and mildly acidic with caramel maltiness and well-rounded bittering. Finishes with a nice tang, mild maltiness, and medium bitterness. Light funkiness to it and after is a medium bitter. Decent ale. scoobyluv (486), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
