Jan 25, 2009 (11/8/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in North Wales. This appears in my notebook as "House Belgian Beer", but I’m pretty sure it’s this one. Hazy reddish amber. Aroma of spices, fruits, yeast, caramel and some phenols. Sweetish flavor with caramel, fruits (banana, raisins), yeast and a spicy finish. Medium-bodied.

Dec 10, 2008 On draft at the NW location. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium beige head. Aroma of cloves, banana, and other spices. Taste of cloves, banana and other light spices.

Sep 22, 2008 Draft @ North Wales - Golden color with a sugary sweet aroma that had hints of citrus and honey. Flavor is very sweet with lots of candi sugar, spice, and sweet fruits. Flavorful, but not all that well put together - average at best.

Aug 11, 2008 [Draft @ North Wales] Poured a lightly hazy, golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of clove, some banana, caramel malts, light toastiness, orange peel, and some alcohol. Taste of honey, almonds, citrus fruits, raisins, toffee malts, white pepper spiciness, and bitterness with some lingering alcohol in the finish.

Jun 6, 2006 North Wales on draft. Dark straw pour with aromas of caramel malts, hopcitrus, and sweet fruit, wth a hint of spice. The flavor was very sweet, almost cloying, with some caramel malt, and a syrupy peach/plum thing going on. A novel attempt, and a rare miss for Iron Hill.

May 26, 2006 Deep gold with a white head. Very fruity, sweet, sugary, some light spice. Mildly yeasty. Alcohol extremely well hidden. Tasty.

Apr 29, 2006 Appears a glowing gold with a small white head that fades into a small film and collar. Plenty of lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is of candy sugar, citrusy, and tropical with a subdued hop presence, mild spice, and perhaps mild earth notes.
Taste is of the same aromas with sugary citrus candy bite.
Mouthfeel is chewy, sugary, medium bodied, with a mild alcohol presence.

Apr 26, 2006 At tap at the North Wales location. Pours a translucent golden amber with an average creamy and lightly bubbly off white lacing head that sustained. Aroma of dark fruits, light spices, and other light fruits. Flavor of grapes, slightly metallic and a sweet maltiness that hid the ABV well.
