Tap at the brewpub in July 2008: Pours a hazy pale golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Authentic aroma of fresh squeezed lemon citrus with some mild bready wheaty notes. Body starts very fizzy and light revealing a touch of wheaty sweetness before giving way to a puckering citric tartness and a dry, crisp finish. Very true to style and enjoyable.

W.C. Poured a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was light lemons and hay. The flavors were and earthy blend of hay, barnyard funk, wheat, and light lemons. Very nice.

GABF 2006: Pale yellow color with an almost white head. The aroma was light as was most of this beer. Some wheaty citrus notes mixed with some tartness in the aroma. The flavor was lightly sour and lightly sweet. It had a decent balance to it.

RBSG 2006 - DC Grand Tasting Lineup Pale yellow, nice head and lacing. Nose of moldy socks, cheese, warm milk. The flavor is chewy, like halfway spoiled milk. Lightly tart, some hop. Blech, no good.

RBSG DC 2006: Very pale, clear, yellow colored body with a large white head. Aroma: sulfur, straw, salt, fruit, and light grains. Flavor: initially sour melon, sulfur, fruit, yeast nutrients, and bread. This one seems to have some sulfur and possibly DMS problems, though to be fair it could simply have been my glass.

RBSG 06. Clear pale with white head. The aroma is sulfer, bread, mildew and cobwebs. The flavor is grainy, bready, light lemon and mildly tart. The mouthfeel is light and lively.

On tap in Media. Clear faint yellow-green with a thin, creamy white head. Lace ghosts. Yeast and bread; a whiff of seabreeze. Sourdough bread dough with fresh lemon juice. Like a wheat beer lemonade. Tight, tongue-tingling carb cuts through the medium body. Finishes clean with doughy residue. A shot of woodruff gives a marshmallow taste; sweetness balances well with lactic sour. A shot of raspberry is almost too sweet. Like a mousse but still refreshing.
