Aroma of bananas, dry, earthy, grainy malts, citrus fruits, and a sweaty must. Taste of light sweet malts, some cereal up front, with sour cherry, citrus fruits, and a dry, lemony, tart finish. yobdoog (1478), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

Nice level of sourness, a little lemony acidity and the right balance. Really good and so perfect at the time. weeare138 (936), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Appears a transparent hazy pale gold with a small white head that slowly fades out. Small spots of lace are left around the glass.
Smell is light lemon zest with a tiny sour tartness on top of a gentle wheat blend.
Taste is of the same aromas in a nice blend.
Mouthfeel is very mild on all counts from the light mouthfeel to the simple tartness on wheat.
Drinkability is good and refreshing. I took mine naked despite the recommendations by the bartender to add the woodruff syrup. Walt (2289), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2006 Draft at Media. Hazy gold/dark straw pour with aroma of pale malt, hopcitrus, including some orange zest and lemon grass. The flavor was malty at firt, then the citrus kicked in, and a lemony, orange zesty tartness, coupled with a bit of earthy Niagara winey notes. Nice complexity. I don’t think I could define this style in a blind taste test. Cletus (5057), Connecticut, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 6, 2008 Growler shared by kmweaver. Proper cloudy lemon yellow body with a white head. Soft lemon and sweet, creamed wheat nose, some funky BO for sure, comes across as sort of a bile/vinegar note. Flavor is intensely puckery and sour, straight acid, yum! Almost resembles straight lemon juice, but there’s development of some orange and soft wheat notes in the back. Not exceedingly deep or complex, but damn good for what it is.
