Draft at Lancaster. Pours a orange amber with a dissipating off white head. Orange of orange peel and bready malts. Light to medium body with just a tad amount of wateriness in the mouth feel. Flavor of pale Belgian wheat malts, orange peel, and herbal tea. Phenolic finish that has hints of yeast and white pepper. True to style and enjoyable.

Draft @ Iron Hill North Wales. Pours a hazy, orangish-amber color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Pleasant tartness and citrus in the aroma; some tropical fruit and malt sweetness. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy malts and bready / doughy warmth; a light vanilla presence at mid-palate; medium, doughy and dry malt finish; light citrus hops.

Smells of citrus hops. Pours a beautiful hazy amber with a white head. It truely has a spring taste to it. Hoppy with a malt finish. It goes down smooth.

Draft at P-ville. Turbid brownish coppery colored with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma is hopcitric up front, with a pronounced hop and orangy aroma, plus some floral and spicy notes. The palate is medium, on the dry side, with a lot of orangy citrus flavors, hops, bready malt, and finishing floral and spicy notes.

Hazy golden-tan color. Aroma has some lightly toasted bread, yeast, a bit of citrus with a somewhat earthy farmhouse character. Flavor is quite doughy - bits of citrus and light fruit, lots of rustic/earthy grains. Pleasant and very drinkable.

On tap at the Blind Tiger. Cloudy brown/orange color with a medium sized off white head. Yeasty, fruity aroma with notes of caramel. Lightly sweet malty flavor, with some caramel, stone fruit and a grassy, mildly tart finish.

Draught at North Wales. Cloudy warm golden-straw body with a velvety off-white head. Aroma of nutty malt, toasted banana, grapes, and bread crust. Flavor is drier than anticipated with a fruity apricot note, some caramelization, nice complex yeast characters, and light but distinct tartness. A marked step up from previous biere de gardes made by Iron Hill. I like this one quite a bit.
