| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 21, 2007 Draught at North Wales. Cloudy warm golden-straw body with a velvety off-white head. Aroma of nutty malt, toasted banana, grapes, and bread crust. Flavor is drier than anticipated with a fruity apricot note, some caramelization, nice complex yeast characters, and light but distinct tartness. A marked step up from previous biere de gardes made by Iron Hill. I like this one quite a bit.
