| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Cask on Lancaster Brewpub. Pours a mud colored brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of fruity ale esters. Medium bodied with creamy and chewy texture, soft carbonation. Flavor of wet grains, brown sugar, and plums- with residual sweetness. Tobacco and small amount of pepperiness on the finish- with detectable alcohol that blends in. This has some phenols that are similar to ones found in Belgian quads.
