| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 3, 2004 Draft at North Wales. This was one of the highlights for me. Poured burnt sienna with medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, heavy nuts, corn flakes, and caramel. Firm, dense palate with a complex malt, nut, toffee, cabernet taste. I found this to be exceptional. egajdzis (3629), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of wheat, roasted toffee, some nuts, and light banana. Much of the same, sweet caramel, lemon, tropical fruits, nuts, and wheat in the taste. eaglefan538 (2383), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Poured a cloudy and brownish yellow color with a small head that dissipated while drinking. Lacing was consistent throughout. Aroma was nutty, wheaty, and slightly fruity (maybe bananas). True to the Bavarian style of wheats. Sweet malty taste behind the wheat base. Enjoyable, but nothing to write home about. EithCubes (2151), Indiana, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 9, 2006 Draught in Newark. Bubblegum, wheat, cloves, slight dark malt. Cloudy amber brown appearance. Murky bubblegum, wheat, dark malt in the taste…muddy feel. Chalky smooth coating. Overall, about what is to be expected of the style (and I’m not a fan). TAR (2093), Boulder Co., Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Draft: Hazy honeyed peach. Slightly rocky dirty-white whisp of head. Soft body with fuzzy carbonation. Bizarre mix of roasted malt hulls and slick hops up front. Chalkiness grits up the palate amid subtle notes of banana and phenols. Roasted malt hulls drive away the esters and clash with the chalky, leafy hop dryness in the finish. This isn’t quite sure what it wants to be. emacgee (1891), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Pours a hazy amber with a creamy head. The nose is very big on the banana clove combo, yeasty, wheaty, all of the typical weisse aromas concentrated. Flavor also shows lots of banana, estery, yeasty, clove, wheaty. Soft smooth mouthfeel. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Almost no head but still has great carbonation. 20 min later, still percolating nicely. Strange aroma that has bananas and pickles. Who knows. Soft, sweet and malty with soem vegetal flavors. A bit sickly sweet. Some wheat presence in the body and flavor. Finishes thick and a bit oily. A strange and interesting brew.
