Poured a hazy golden color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of wood, funk, wild yeast, vanilla, toast, chardonnay grapes, and light apple. Taste of toast, vanilla, citrus, tart grapes, wood, yeast, and a sour finish.

BCTWC 09. Pours a hazy yellow lambic like with a thinning white head. Aroma is very lactic, tons of funky brett lambicus, lambicy cheesiness going on with a good amount of white grape acidity as well. Flavor is full of brett funk, goaty, cheesy and barnyardish with more grapeskin acidity, tannic but doest become astringent as haywood does- great sour finish. This one borders on being a lambic, and is actually more enjoyable than the Wimlington lambic. As it warms it gets a bit too cheesy, but cool it is very nice.

On tap at Belgian Comes to West Chester (Iron Hill). I get up to the bar and they erase it from the board 2 minutes before they take my order. Beer Gods where shinning on my and big thanks to John for buying me a glass and saving it for me! Poured a medium and cloudy golden/yellow color with almost no head. Aromas of wood, funky, musty, and an underlying fruitiness. Tastes of wood and an overall lighter funkiness. Lighter tart and sour finish.
