| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2008 Deep orange/brown beer. The aroma is lightly molassessy with orange peel, toast, roasted raisins, rum and sweet brown sugar. A bit of caramel with with a sort of cleanness that I think typifies better examples of this style. Toasty flavour with a light pruney plumminess. Fruity and rich finish. Rich light and fruity with a soft sweetness. I think they’ve got the malt profile down pretty well, but they need a more interesting yeast for this one. PilsnerPeter (2617), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 22, 2008 Bottle: Pours a murky amber brown. Aroma has some maple, toffee, brown sugar and mild dark fruits. Flavor is sweet with brown sugar, maple, without much dark fruit character. Has some nice roasted Belgian malts into the finish. Pretty nice, as far as US Quads go (which I tend to rate harshly). GMCC2181 (872), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Smells chocolatey and fruity. Taste is very complex...Chocolate. fruity, malty, smoke, eastery and alcohol. It is a good beer but the only negative I have on it is its carbonation. A little to much for my liking. But overall a solid beer that I would get again. UPDATE****On tap at Newarak Local... Nice aroma of chocolate and malt. Taste is a nice sipping beer, lots of chocolate and malts, dark fruits and some other spices... Overall nice beer, much better on draft goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Apr 3, 2008 On Tap in Iron Hill Newark Location: Very dark appearance. Excellent balance between the roasted maltiness and the fruity sweetness characteristic of Belgian ales. At 10% alcohol, this beer packs a punch, but it is smooth enough that the alcohol is noticeable but not overpowering. Very drinkable, but be careful Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark
