| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Pours a hazy maroon, brown with a big fluffy off tan head. Smells of some dark malts and fruits. A little smoke in there too I picked up. Interesting. Taste is very sweet, almost a little tart. Just a touch of some smoky maltiness. Nice dark fruits, alost funked out fruits. Really syrupy, but fairly easy drinking. Definitely get some alcohol in the taste, especially in the finish. Get a little heat there. Good brew. badgerben (3603), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. Finishes sweet, chocolaty and fruity. Kudos to kmweaver for picking up the growler! ryan (1778), Beltsville, Maryland, USA
