Draft at Iron Hill West Chester. Poured cloudy dark golden in color with a small white head. Aroma typical of pumpkin ales but with a real nice overlaying brett funkiness. Tastes of pumpkin spices, cinnamon, cloves, caramel, but finishes with a nice amount of brett and oak. Lightly sour finish. My favorite pumpkin ale of the Gathering of the Gourds.

Hazy brown color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, horsey funk, wood, citrus, cinnamon, nutmeg, nuts, caramel malts, vanilla, and pumpkin. Taste of cinnamon, nuts, nutmeg, caramel, pumpkin, and a bretty, wild yeast finish.

Tap at IH WC during Gathering of the Gourds 2009. This was the "secret" beer that was on tap. Pours a hazy deeper brown with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of light funk and other brett character, certainly light in the aroma. The Belgian yeast notes are there along with some of the pumpkin pie spices. Flavor is a little more funky and oaky but still pretty tame. The Belgian yeast and pie spices are starting to tone down.
