Honey double witbier is brewed naturally with the finest malted barley, hops, and yeast. This full bodied version of a Belgian classic is brewed with orange peel, coriander, and orange blossom honey. It has a distinct fruit character with a clean, dry finish.

Bottle. Shiny warm golden body with a short-lived white head in my Duvel glass. Aroma has some peppery coriander notes and sticky honey tones, plus light yeasty stonefruit qualities. Tons of floral honey character in the flavor, but the witbier basis is still apparent. Substantially sweet with lots of puerile, candy-good qualities to please the hairy over-grown kid that is me. Nice pepper and alcohol in the finish. Might should lay one of these down to see how it develops.

750ml bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of honey, spices, and some citrus. Tastes of the same. Lighter alcohol in the finish, but overall well hidden.

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a smaller white head that went away to nothing. Aroma of sweet malt, honey, coriander, oranges and candy sugar. Flavor of the same. Nice body and well done double wit.

Clear orange gold color with almost no head. Aroma is sweet, nice, almost malt liquorish. Corny, and some honey. Flavor is sweet, honey, wheat, corn and faint spice.

750ml Bottle: Wheat, honey, light coriander, slight yeast, fruit, nectar, and a hint of alcohol. Poured amber/yellow/gold in color with no head on the first pour but a small, loose, off-white head that disappeared on the second pour. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Full of small particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet and and slightly bitter. Tastes of wheat, coriander, honey, light spices, slight yeast, slight candi sugar, and a slight hint of alcohol. Thankfully, I do not notice any orange. Medium body. Slightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Coriander, slight spice, honey, and wheat finish is sweet and lightly dry. 9.5%ABV is virtually undetectable.

750ml bottle given to me by a IH manager on my wedding day. Poured hazy golden in color with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet with honey, lemon, citrus. Tastes is fruity, overly sweet with honey, with some herbal notes. not bad, but for me a little too sweet.

Got to sample a bottle of this last night at a friend’s house. Colour... beautiful cloudy amber with very little head. Nose... definitely coriander, orange grove in full blossom, yeast. Palate... not much carbonation but delightfully tasty with orange marmalade, beeswax, honeysuckle and spice with a wonderfully long, and slightly alcoholic finish!

Bottle shared with wolf at the philles game... Nice orange-ish color, small head. Nice spicy yeasty and lemon nose. Taste is lots of lemon, grass/hay, spices, honey and some fruitiness. Really nicely done for being a high alcohol brew... Easy drinking. Oveall impressed and would drink it any day of the week if it wasnt for the price tag that it came with.

Pours hazy coppery dark straw with 2-finger fluffy white head. Nose is clovey, spicy yeasty, with limey citrus, hops. The flavor is sweet up front, with apricotty fruit, malt, hopcitrus, florals, and spices. Rich, complex mouthfeel, and nicely balanced. I’ll gladly drink this one any day of the week.
