Nov 1, 2008 Draft, at IH North Wales 10/26/08. Poured a murky copper color, capped with a small off-white head. Aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin. Flavor is reminiscent of pumpkin pie filling, with nutmeg, cinnamon, other spices, brown sugar and alcohol. Full bodied and hearty. Spices hang out for a long finish. This was much more impressive than the non-imperial pumpkin beer which was also on tap.

Nov 1, 2008 Golden color with a nice and strong aroma of big pumpkin, spices, cream and sugar. Flavor is heavy on the pumpkin with some nice cinnamon and spice, loads of sugar, and a creamy booziness that was pretty good. One of the better pumpkin brews I’ve had.

Oct 30, 2008 Growler shared at a tasting thanks to MrBendo. Poured a hazy amber brown color with a small white head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie. Tastes of cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie filling, cloves, and some vanilla. Finish is smooth and nice. Alcohol hardly perceivable.

Oct 27, 2008 Growler from the North Wales location. Pours a cloudy caramel amber with a medium sized light beige head. Aroma of pumpkin filling, banana bread and nutmeg. Taste of rich pumpkin filling, nutmeg and banana bread. Very good. One of the better pumpkin beers.

Aromas of spices (cinnamon and cloves), pumpkin, caramel, bananas, and vanilla. Tastes of the same spices, bananas, pumpkins, caramel, fruity, and candi sugar. Light alcohol in the finish but overall well hidden.

Oct 26, 2008 Tap at IH North Wales. Deep, hazy orange color with good lacing. Aroma of pie spices, yeasty cloves and a bit of alcohol. The initial spicy yeast taste gives way to the pumpkin pie spices in a very enjoyable way. Spicy-sweet finish. Pretty substantial bodied. The alcohol was fairly well hidden. Kudos to the brewers for another great beer.

Oct 26, 2008 Poured a murky brown orange color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana nut bread, some clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel, and vanilla. Taste of more spices, cinnamon, light ginger, clove, banana, nuts, bread, caramel, brown sugar, pumpkin, and light alcohol in the finish as well.

Oct 26, 2008 From a growler. Cluody dark orange and brown colored body. Fruity and sweet sweet blood oranges pulp and fresh squash. A bit of sugar sweetenes things up but seems to be mostly natural. Body is medium to full, and overall it’s peppery, spicy, and fruity. Good stuff.
