| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 12, 2006 North Wales, Draught. Very piney/resinous aroma with a similar flavor backed by a distinct syrupy sweetness and alcohol. Sampled on two different occasions and similar impressions...an ok IIPA and I did not desire a second either time. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 14, 2006 On tap at the North Wales location as Kryponite IIPA. Pours a translucent golden amber with an average creamy off white head that left lacing. Aroma of very fresh dry hops, orange, caramel, sweat malts and very fruity. Flavor of pine, caramel, floral, grapefruit, nice bitterness and some candy sweetness. Well done IIPA. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2006 "Kryptonite", draught at North Wales. Served way too cold. Clear metallic golden-orange body with a frothy, off-white head. Fresh, resinous hop aroma with mango and sweet candy malt notes. Fresh hop flavors, some syrupy sweetness, and medium bitterness. Finish is very clean and lacks the assertiveness of a great DIPA. Somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Like many Iron Hill beers, this is solid, but the overall impression here is both too sweet and too clean to greatly interest me.
