| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2008 AKA : Kryptonite Double IPA draft at Lancaster location. It poured bright amber in color with a thick frothy and sticky beige head. The head left a very nice lacing on the glass. The aroma is of floral and piney hops with notes of a caramel sweetness. Taste of sweet, floral, piney hops prominent. The malt backbone is nice and it lets the hop taste speak for itself without being too thin. For the hop shortage, Iron Hill managed to nail out an awesome IIPA. Very nice. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours an extremely cloudy orange body with a thick merangue-like beige head that seems to go no where. Oranges and sweet malts in the nose. Starts off very sweet with lots of oranges but finishes with more of a bitter grapefruit flavor. Solid malt backbone and lots of spices through-out. Very good IIPA!
