This beer was not very interesting. Foamy head without much aroma. Very faint roast, tastes too much like water. I guess you could say it was very smooth but it felt like you weren’t drinking anything. In many ways this was like a Guinness clone, and I don’t like Guinness very much either. This beer stuck me as thinner...watery.

Nitro pour at Wilmington. Blackish pour with Darker roasty aroma. Taste is dry with some coffee and hop bitterness thrown in. Pretty good dry stout.

Poured a dark black with tan head. Aroma was roasted and faint chocolate. Flavor was much the same with some piny hops. Mouthfeel was thing and watery. Not a great beer.

Nitro at north Wales location. Dark body with hugh creamy head. Vanilla, malty aroma. Flavor was sweet with a very noticable alcohol to it, odd. The vanilla threw me off but was a very pleasnat part to this beer that lead to the higher rating. Enjoyable.

Draught at North Wales location. Dark brown/black appearance with a thick creamy head. Very faint aroma of chocolate. Palate was very thick and the flavor was primarily chocolate malt with almost no roasted character otherwise. Slightly bitter dry finish.

Nitro at North Wales. Rusty, dark-brown body with a creamy beige head. Strong cocoa and tobacco notes in the aroma. Flavor is mostly dry with medium bitterness and a roasty finish. Light, but notable acidity. Faint chlorophenolic note late. More palatable and creamier than Guinness with slightly more hop character as well. So-so.

Served on nitro at the North Wales location. Pours a deep brown with amber highlights and a creamy light tan lacing head. Aroma had a lot of caramel and toffee, milk chocolate and some toasty/roasted malts. Flavor of roasted malt, toffee, toasted bread, traces of some citrus.

On tap at New Wales. Brown, with a tan head. Roasty, malty aroma. Flavor is predominatly roasted malt. Palate is too thin, though.
