Iron Hill Ironbound Ale

Draft at MapleShade. Poured a clear orangeish/amber with a smaller whiteish head. Aroma was nice with lots of fresh hops over some malty cereal grains. Flavor was great with even more hops coming through, bread, dough and cereal grains along with a touch of citrus fruit rind. This was one solid APA that I actually thought was an IPA. Great if your a hop lover and an awesome session beer.

On tap @ Iron Hill Wilmington. Hazy amber with an off white head that leaves some lacing. Citrus, lemon aroma with some grain scents. Sweet with light bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation and a clean finish. Pretty good Pale.

On tap at Iron Hill in Media, PA (05/26/09). Light amber in color with a decent off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, light caramel and trix cereal. Taste is very fruity with notes of citrus and berries.

had this at Iron Hill’s new location in Maple Shade NJ. Nice amber coloring with think creamy head. Nice hop aroma and flavor. great beer.

Draft pours medium golden with a light fluffy head. Nice herbal and pine like aroma. Slight citrus. Medium hop bitterness with a bit of malt to round it out. Average APA.

On draft at the Brewpub in Maple Shade (?), NJ. Pours an orange and gold body. The aroma is light hops (citrus) and a hint of fruit. Flavor is smooth, well-balanced mouth-feel with notes of fruit, pine, and citrus hops.

Very good pale ale. Aroma of citrus and pine. Nice dark amber with a good sized head. Flavor is nicely balanced with sweet malt up front and a hop kick in back. Dry and refreshing finish.

Tap At West Chester IH. Pours orange with a 2 finger tan head. Nose is sweet with light hops. Taste is sweet, overly bitter in my opinion.
