A copper colored beer. This one balanced the malt and hops nicely. A big grapefruit, pine, and orange flavor. The palate was a bit thin but it was flavorful nonetheless. Good session ale.

dark copper, berry nose. starts hoppy but finishes with a blueberry mouthfeel. a rather odd combo but it works suprising well. as it warms, the hops become more prominent which of course raised the anty for me

Whenever I visit Iron Hill Breweries, this is always my stand-by. An exceptionally good brew from the tap, it’s crisp, light, and provides an excellent balance. The flavor and after-taste are great for an ale (especially an APA, usually the flavors are way too extreme), well-suited and professionally crafted. My current favortie Iron Hill masterpiece.

Growler filled in Wilmington. Light brownish orange with a off white head. Hoppy aroma. Slightly citrusy. Lots of bitterness. Nice malty character. Nice american pale ale. Decent.

Growler filled in Wilmington. Light brownish orange, with an off-white head. Aroma is more hoppy than anything, but the growler-fill seems to have taken the hop-edge off a bit. Still slightly citrussy, though. Flavor is a wonderful menage of hops and carmel malt. Big bitterness and hop flavor. Nice malty sweetness. This is an excellent APA and would make for a favorite session brew if I were a local.

Awesome APA! Pours a deep amber with a tan creamy head. Aroma of spicy hops and malt. Flavor has a nice kick of American hops backed up by a smooth malt backbone and a dry, tart finish. Pour me another.

Light copper appearance with a decent head that left good lacing. Instant hop gratification in the aroma and taste; the American C-hops are quite evident. Medium-bodied flavor with lively carbonation. Long lasting, hoppy, bitter finish.

From Cask: Poured a dark golden amber while producing a creamy tan head. Very hoppy on the palate and tasty as well. A bitter end that leaves an excellent after taste. An excellent example of the style.
