had the regular and the cask versions side by side. pours clear dark gold with a thin, lingering off-white head. aroma is malty sweet with a piney citrus hoppiness. cask version is heavier on the hops aroma. regular is thin, cask is thicker. flavor is pleasantly hoppy, floral with a slight metallic taste and wheat notes. aftertaste is bitter citrus and wheat. long-lasting bitterness. not bad.

On draft at the Wilmington location.  Pours a clear light copper with a small white head.  Aroma of faint citrus hops.  Taste of mild citrus hops.  Not bad.

On tap at the Lancaster brewery. An amber pour leaves a thin ring and spotty lace. Nice floral aromas in the bouquet. Softly sweet caramel malts that intermix with tiny grapefruit overtones and pine notes. The pine keeps showing forth through to the finish. A truly fine show of weaving so many hop varieties in a synergistic effect. It’s well-balanced with a medium mouthfeel. Comes together nicely. Classic APA style example!

Tap at Media: Pours copper color with good lacing. Nice citrus hop aroma. Very drinkable and thirst quenching. Good malt taste and body with hops slightly kicking in towards the end. Being a hophead, to me this would be an amazing beer with just a little more hops. I felt teased. But, I guess that would change the category of the beer.

Tap at Lancaster location. Amber coloured brew with a light white head. Aroma is quite fresh and hoppy. Soft orange peel and grapefruit over a soft sweet bready malt base. Caramelly malt base and as the beer starts to warm up, more crystal sweetness comes to the front. Nice and fresh with a bright dry-hopped flavour. Soft palate and a really excellent balance. Nice brew.

On tap at newark: Nice amber color, small white frosty head. Smell is hops. Taste was a nice blend of all 4 hops. It had a nice bitterness. Earthy as well. Medium texture. Good IPA.
