How: Tat at brewpub, North Wales location
The look: Clear dark golden body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Nose is intensely citrusy. Body is filled with tasty caramel perfectly balanced by a citrusy and resinous hops. Long finish with a bitterness of medium intensity. Lively carbonation. Overall rather crisp. This is a well balanced tasty american hop-fix. I don’t know what the deal is with the Iron Hill locations but I had this one at the North Wales location although it is listed as a Newark beer. Great. Now there’s really no reason whatsoever to go to Delaware.
Miver (469), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2008 Draft at Lancaster location. Poured amber in color with a large frothy beige head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and light piney hops, with a nice caramel malt base. Taste of piney and citrus hops with a nicely balanced caramel malt. Great body, carbonation and mouth feel. Very nice. doubleipa (224), Georgia, USA Aug 29, 2008 Had this at the Harrisburg brewfest. Appearance: huge, off-white head. Aroma: resin, but not much citrus. Bitter taste and dry, short finish. can8ianben (660), Pasadena, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Sweet hoppy aroma. Oh what a lovely flavor after saMpling so many of their mediocre offerings!
