375 ml corked bottle from TheEpeiist, thanks! Pinkish color. Cherry, marzipan and oak in the aroma. Quite sour, but also velvety flavor with cherries and lemon. Excellent beer, maybe just lacking a bit of the intense complexity of the very best lambics.

Bottle at DLD. Floral, light sour and tart cherry aromas, somewhat thin but refined and gentle. Prickly cactus, mild chewy kriek flavor, yeasty and full bodied with a vinegar sour finish. Pretty nice. This wasn’t as sour as the straight lambic, but was more refined and didn’t just taste like drinking a bottle of balsamic, so I liked it.

Sampled during Skyview Sourfest II in St Paul, MN and shared by BDR. From a 750 ml bottle pours a hazy orange amber brew with a dirty pink head that slowly dissipates to a thin film top. Aroma of tart cherries, horse blanket, a hint of vanilla and oak. Taste is sharp sour, medium bodied, with flavors of tart cherries and a little barn yard funk. Finish has a light tart aftertaste with some funk, yeast and oak.

Bottle, sampled at Woodshop Quad. Pours a hazy amber with a white ring. Sour aroma, of malt and yeast. Crisp sour taste, of yeast, under-ripe grapefruit and lemon, malt. Lingering clean sourness. Very drinkable and tasty.
