Bottle from my buddy WeeHeavySD. Thanks Jon! Opened at alohaCs 2008 end of the year tasting. Wow! What an excellent beer. My favorite of the night. Lots of body for a 4.8% beer. Nice sweet and sourness. Some acetic acid. Wonderful. Super easy to drink. Very, very good.

Hazy with amber with a tiny off white head. Extreme sour aroma with acetone, sour berries and woody notes. Flavour had plenty of acetone, sour berries, vinegar, sour cherries and plenty of lacto bacteria.

No head; reddish-orange beer with amber shine; end of bottle fully hazy. Cherries, wood, fusels, in an absolutely SUPERB balance. Very serious acidbite, including acetic; yet some milk/lactic touches and fresh fruit, in old wood. Sharp, acidburn, lipsmacking sourness and speculoos, which is characteristic for whole cherries. Su-perb! Better than the draught Kreik I had some years ago. Big thanks to CK!

Bottle from Wilmington. Pours orangy/deep brownish ruby and turbid, with nose of tart cherries, oaky earthy lactic yeast notes. Tastes tart, dripping with cherry flavor, earthy lactic notes, and yeasty notes. Stays tart throughout, and the repour gets even denser and thicker. Gets more tart near the end of the bottle, but stays very complex and amazing all the way through. Another truly delicious lambic from these guys.

bottle from bockyhorsey... orange-ish brown pour with a bunch of yeast nuggets floating around in it. it smells... well, sour... mixed with tart fruit, dust, minerals and some faint wood. i don’t pick up cherry specifically in the flavor though it is packed with a sour fruitiness. it has a bunch of cinnamon-y spice, lactic, mineral/calcium, some funkiness, loads of tannins and a strange saltiness... this is THE most sour damned beer i’ve ever tasted!... not a whole lot of dimension but sour for sure. sharp and super dry with puckering mouth feel. 8/4/8/5/18/4.3

Sample from bottle at IH Wilm. Pours a hazy orange/pinkish with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of very tart cherries, barnyard funk, hay, floral, perfume, yeast and just really nice. Flavor of tart cherries, pie crust, doughy, yeast, doughy, cherry really nice, dried out nicely.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a very cloudy reddish brown orange color with a small canvas ring for a head. No lacing. Aroma is wood, sap, sour cherries, oak, and vanilla. Taste is same with a sort of meaty back end. Mouthfeel is tart and tangy and sour. Nice long finish. Very good.
