[At GABF 2004] A clear yellow beer with a small disappearing white head. The aroma is hoppy and malty with a slight hint of alcohol. The flavor is primarily malty in the beginning, to end up with a dry hoppy end.

Brewed and sampled at Newark, DE location. Bronze, malty, very straightforward character with some light toast and caramel and late flowery hop.

On tap at the North Wales location. Poured a deeper and clear golden color with a very small sized head. Aroms of citrus, bread, and malty. Tastes of cookie dough, breadiness, and all around ’malty’. Some alcohol in the finish.

Tap at Lancaster location. Pale golden beer. Aroma is lightly honeyish and sweet. Clean bready maltiness, a kiss of sulphur and a light minerally bitterness. Fresh and sweet and a pretty solid bock.

Draft at North Wales. Pours deep gold with copper menisci. Aroma of malt, hops, fruit, some wheat and honey. Tastes malty, fruity, with a firm honey burst upon esophagination. Well balanced, nice complexity, and a great beer. Finished 3rd in my growler selections.

Poured a gold color with a very little white head. Toasty, doughy, sweet and malty aroma. Taste was bready, caramel malts, and a slight alcohol bite.

On tap at North Wales. Pours a bit on the light side of the style- deep gold, mostly clear- some hazy and a moslty white fluffy head. Aroma is a bit light- some sweet and nutty malts, lightly toasted wheat bread, and hints of floral and herbal hops. Flavor is again a bit light for the style, but had some nice doughy character, light toast malts, some bread, and light on the hops. Cool solid smooth mouthfeel and goes down easy. Nice spring/summer lager.

GABF '03. Nice light brown color. Mellow hop taste along with mild caramel roasted malt. A mellow bock but very drinkable.
