Swolf3 (252), Elkton, Maryland, USA Oct 15, 2008 On tap at Newark. Poured black in color with big tan head. Aroma was creamy, and sweet. Taste was milky and a little coffee and vanilla. Taste like milk going down, enjoyable. GMCC2181 (845), Bear, Delaware, USA Oct 15, 2008 On tap at the newark location. Black in color, good head. Nice sweet aroma of sweet cream. Taste was close to the aroma, milky, sweet creamer, vanilla, hint of coffee, chocolate and milk... Very smooth and easy to drink. Good beer by Iron Hill eaglefan538 (2355), Wilmington, Delaware, USA Jun 9, 2006 Poured a near black color with a tan to brown head that sustained itself great and provided a wonderful head that lasted forever. The lacing was a thin coating along the walls of the glass. Aroma was hard to pick up. The flavor was coffee, chocolate, very smooth, and some lactic / milk flavors. The mouthfeel was nice and creamy. desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA Dec 31, 2005 Newark. Black bodied with a super thick, rich tan head. Not much aroma going on besides some nondistinct sweetness. Flavor is extremely too sweet and cloying, really bordering on unpleasant. No hops, just a lactose-y sugar attack. I don’t like it. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 15, 2005 On nitro in Newark. Really cool rings going up the glass from the nitro. Poured a thick black body with a creamy tan head. Mostly coffee on the nose. The flavor was also dominated by roasted malts with a little cream. Almost like a frothy room temp coffee with creamer. Not very sweet for a milk stout, though.
