A good representation of Dunkels I had in Germany. Miver (566), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Draft @ Iron Hill Media. Amber color with a light head. Light and sweet aroma of toasty-nutty malt and other flavors. Sweet malty flavor that is nice and smoky, with just enough hop bitterness to make it addictive. Surprisingly good Dunkel - IH scores again. TomDecapolis (3194), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a deep brownish amber with a smaller off white slightly lacing head. Aroma was nutty with toasted malts and some caramel. Flavor was also very nutty with toasty and sweet malts, some caramel/toffee, hints of smoke and light hops. eaglefan538 (2383), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Poured with a respectable initial head that dissipated to near nothingness and provided no lacing. Deep copper brown color. Served at a warmer temperature (nice), this one smelled of light roasted coffee and malt flavors. The flavor was of light roasted coffee, caramel malts, and some breadiness. There was a nice hop touch to the finish to balance things off, but it finished with a somewhat dry and acidic mouthfeel. Not an outstanding brew, but decent. egajdzis (3629), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 30, 2006 Poured an amber color with a medium sized, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast, caramel, nuts, and floral hops. Taste of more nuts and roast, some doughy nougat, chocolate, citrus hops, and a medium bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel, very nice dunkel. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 27, 2006 Wilmington. Dark reddish-brown with a huge beige head. Aroma is malty and sweet. Flavor is malt-dominated, with a good amount of nutty character and lots of doughy sweetness, as well as significant hoppiness. Finishes sweet with a good hop bite. Nice beer, and I should have taken better notes before drinking too much more and typing up this lame review.
