Aweful stuff, quite possible the worst brewhouse beer I ever tasted. It does not say much for this place when I order a gin martini....at least the food is delicious.

May 2005 - There isn’t much to say about this. According to the waittress, this is their "most award winning beer" at Iron Hill. That seems either hard to believe or disappointing. The taste was very similar to a Yuengling lager, but was smoother and less bitter. A good lager, but very nonremarkable

On tap @ Newark-Yellow/golden/copper color w almost no head. Sweet roasted malt aroma. Had a sweet malt flavor but had a somewhat medicinal overtone to it that made this one hard to enjoy. Looked good, started off good, but it went downhill quickly from there. Wouldn’t recomend this one.

Another pretty crisp brew from iron hill. Nothing outstanding in the taste of this one. not much of an aroma, and flavour is a bit malt.

On tap at New Wales. Gold color, with aroma of malt and hops. Flavor is also malt and hops. Ends a little bitter.

Light amber color with a light malty aroma. Taste is a bit malty, but overall pretty weak/lame. They should have done much better for their ’standard’ lager.

Didn’t blow me away or anything, but this was a good lager that I would try again. I had this at the West Chester Iron Hill though.
