This amber gold pour wasn’t all it was hyped up to be. I have been to Germany and had true helles and this really wasn’t quite it. It has that clean helles taste but the flavor just wasn’t all there with the malt backing. It was quite bready and sour though.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear golden color. There was not much of a head on it at all. It left a little lacing. There wasn’t much of an aroma either. What was there was OK. It was fairly typical of a macro, with notes of corn. The taste was half decent, with some malts and hops. A slight step up from your typical macro.

This is their most prized beer?? Poured a light light yellow color. Aroma was grassy as was the flavor. Not a great lager, would agree with doulos much like Yuengling.

This offering is slightly darker than their ironhill later and with a clean aroma. Fairly malty-bodied lager with a bit of an off-taste. Okay.

Not a bad lager at all. Spicy flavior but still relatively light for this style. However, I find it a bit pricey on tap for its taste range.

Clear gold, thin white head. Nose held notes of florals, bread, and touches of jalapeno pepper. Soft spicy floral flavors up front with a soft malt sweetness as an underlying theme. Light bodied, soft carbonation, saaz hop finish. Pretty good brew that was way drinkable...

This beer came a bright gold with a touch of orange to its color. The head consisted of an irregular film of white that left behind a few spots of lace. Smelled of light pasty lager malts and yeast with a little bit of bread dough. There were also hints of tart raspberries and smooth peaches. In the background was a slight woody hop. Tasted of light and smooth, pasty malts with a surprisingly dry, woody and slightly peppery hop. The hops hung around for a bit but soon faded leaving behind a nutty, malty finish with remnants of the woody hop still lingering around. This flavor was really excellently crafted and seamlessly assembled. The mouth feel was smooth, light and slick with a light, sparse but noticeable carbonation. Fantastic! This beer was simply delicious, felt great in my mouth and was just fantastic on a cool summer night. Deliciousness and being effortless to drink is a perfect combination in my book.

draft. Very good aroma. Nice hoppy taste that is decently balanced. A good lager that goes down smooth.
