Fairly standard medium bodied lager but with decent flavor and malt/hop balance. A hearty summer / fall choice. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2006 12-ounce bottle (left over from WBC ’06). Pours dark straw color with a scant white head. Bready on the nose, with a little sweet malt behind. There’s very little attack, and the body is predictably light (but quenching, as the style goes). Medium and somewhat undefined hop finish. Refreshing, fairly clean, very easy to drink, nice for a muggy and/or hot day. jcwattsrugger (5424), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 27, 2006 Draught sample, Wilmington DE location. Pale, clear, bright gold with ok head retention....fresh, clean grassy nose with a touch of dry heather, quite soft overall but not soggy....light slightly metallic grassy character on the tongue, just a bit too mineralic but otherwise fine, hints of dry corn and oregano....refreshing, dry grassy/earthy hops in the finish...pleasant but forgettable.
