Draught at Phoenixville BrewPub (at 7.7%ABV): Aroma of malts, malty sweetness, slight maple syrup, and a hint of nuts. Poured amber in color with a large, rocky, creamy, tan head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Clear. Sparkling. Lightly sweet, slightly bitter, flavor. Tastes of malts, , earth, light nuts, and dried leaves. Medium body. Lightly dry, slightly syrupy texture. Average carbonation. Malt and dry leaf finish is lightly dry. 7.7%ABV is totally hidden. A nice Oktoberfest.

Draft at Maple Shade. Poured a clear orange/amber with a smaller quickly and totally disipating white head. Aroma had notes of grain, spice and nutts. Flavor was mostly amber malt with light spice, cereal and biscuit. Solid beer that is easily sessionable.

On tap at Wilmington waterfront. Appearance is dark mahogany with a medium tan head. Aroma and taste are very solid - roasted malt, more robust than the average Oktoberfest.

Hand=bottled bomber courtesy Ty5592! Pours clear dark orange with a thick and lacy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, floral hops. Medium body and full carbonation. The lightly sweet caramel, bread, floral hops come through in the taste, along with a little citrus. Dry floral finish. A little more hoppy than the average Marzen, but not so much that it detracts from the malty goodness of the style.

Tap@WestChester. Largely tasteless, even for the style. No kick at all. Not a fan.

Growler courtesy of JB175. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, light spice, some pepper. Tastes of caramel, spice, some sweet hints and a touch of vanilla. Excellent!
