Goodgrief (1057), Middletown, Delaware, USA Sep 24, 2008 On tap at Wilmington location: Dark copper head, smallish head and lacing. Caramal malty base with pretty large floral hop base. More hoppy than your typical oktoberfest. Crisp and refreshing with a firm kick. Mild to high carbonation. I liked it.
stangger (143), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 22, 2008 Tap@WestChester. Largely tasteless, even for the style. No kick at all. Not a fan. jjpm74 (3400), Connecticut, USA Oct 21, 2008 Growler courtesy of JB175. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, light spice, some pepper. Tastes of caramel, spice, some sweet hints and a touch of vanilla. Excellent! GMCC2181 (485), Bear, Delaware, USA Oct 15, 2008 On tap at the newark location. Color was dark brown. Taste was a sweet, malty beer but still balanced. Average texture and carbonation. I enjoyed this beer and would definetly get another! lebshiff21 (43), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 13, 2008 Too much alcohol (gasp!) It’s 7.7% in Phoenixville. The alchohol overpowers and it’s very sweet, too sweet for an Oktoberfest in my book. Nice aroma, spicy, a little yeasty - first sip takes you by surprise. JB175 (1406), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 11, 2008 Golden color with a moderate head. Sweet, cereal, malty-aroma with some light hops. Flavor is malty with some light sugar, cereal, and spice. Solid fest-brew.
