Beautiful cloudy amber color; thick head. Aroma of milk chocolate, malt, hops, light sweet wood. Smooth mouthfeel, good malt and caramel flavor, with a touch of vanilla and a good hopping, both in strength and quality. Very good.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of kramer17801. Slightly hazy amber golden with a neat, off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with sweetish caramel and accents of sherry and overripe fruit. Subdued bitterness. A nice one. 021107

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with a light touch of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, leading to a dry finish where the fruity note carries thru. The body is thin. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

#13 [Blind tasting @ Papsoe] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Light cloudy to muddy colour. Grapefruit, pine, elderflower, citrus. Apricot, caramel. Over the palate notes of sweet fruit. Medium bodied with a dry texture a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet and bitter flavour. Dry and sweet crystallized malty finish. 3 / 6 / 7 / 4 / 14 = 3.4

Courtesy boboski. 2005. Amber pour topped by a small, creamy, tan cap. Nose is a little off- musty, vegetal, rich caramel, subtle cocoa, airy yeast. Flavor is much better- toasted caramel/toffee, cocoa powder, dried and fresh dark fruit, bready malt, and a light dose of dry, airy yeast. Full body, balanced carbonation. Excepting the aroma, a solid brew.
