Nice sweet and bitter balance. Decent porter. Update: I also had the Aged in Oak Barrel Version at the Kennett Square Festival. This version was nicer than the plain version. egajdzis (3636), Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of chocolate, and roasted malt and coffee. Roasted coffee taste also included some chocolate cream and a hint of smoke. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

The color is rich dark blackish-amber. It imparts tastes of chocolate, slight black licorice, coffee, and that very slight roasty/smoky flavor. Worth seeking out, although Iron Hill doesn't bottle yet, to my knowledge. A great porter. Drinkingdan (371), East Norriton, Pennsylvania, USA

Not as bitter as most porters, and missing a certain deep wine quality. Very easy to enjoy, however. A good session porter. Not holing the chocolate/coffee notes as strongly as other porters.
