TheCaptain (343), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 13, 2008 On tap in Iron Hill Lancaster. Very dark brown with a small simmering tan head, some lacing. Some roasted chocolate on the nose into a malty pallet, roast in the body. Bit of dry hop bitterness in the end. Even keel porter nice drinker.

Tons of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee in the nose. flavor is heavy roasted malts, with bakers chocolate, black coffee, caramel, smokiness, and a slight bitter backing. finish is bitter and malty. solid porter.
