Commercial Description:
We cut up 150 pounds of pie pumpkins, roasted them until they were brown at the edges and added them to our mash. Then we spiced it with traditional pumpkin pie spices instead of finishing hops. We call it pumpkin pie in a glass! OG: 1.070 Color: 18 IBU: 30

MEDIA, PA: Nice dark orange color with a light tan head. There was pumpkin flavor but it wasn’t as heavy as it has been in the past. A little more hoppy than in the past as well. I took homw a growler for Halloween.

Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear, slightly orangish color. There is a bit of a head on it, and it leaves some lacing. The nose is definitely pumpkin pie spice. Potent, but not overdone. The taste is along the same lines. A decent malt backbone with pumpkin pie spices. Lots of them, but not overdone. A good pumpkin beer!

Nice pumpkin flavor. More spice than sweetness, which I liked. Great amber/orange color.

Poured with an amber color, decent head, good retention, good lacing. The aroma was spicey, pumpkins. The flavor was pretty well balanced for a pumpkin ale, nice touch of pumpkins as well as cinnamon and nutmeg, not overboard on either. Mouthfeel moderate but fairly well carbonated, keeping this a little on the dry side (nothing cloying or spicey annoying!).

Golden amber color with light-med head. Smooth sweet & spicy pumpkin aroma. Taste is malty, pretty nice body for a pumpkin. Sweet, sessionable, and about the best that can be expected from a pumpkin beer.

Draft, at IH media. Pours orange brown, with a small tan head. Aroma of caramel, pumpkin meat, and mild spice. Flavor is a nice balance between spice and pumpkin, with the spice slightly more prominent. Long nutmeg and pumpkin finish. Decent pumpkin ale, but i was a bigger fan of the Imperial Pumpkin from the North Wales location.

Poured a dark dark golden color with small head and good lacing. Aroma was spices and pumpkin. Flavor was a good blend of the 2 a little sweet for me but still good.

Growler from Wilmington. Pours a nice hued fiery orange with no head. Aroma of nutmeg and cinnamon, very sweet. Flavor is smooth with little carbonaton (damn you screw-cap growlers). There’s a nice pumpkin pie sugary character as well as lots of fall spices. Not much in the way of hops. Nice autumn beer.
