750ml bottle, again thanks to Swolf3. Another murky brown pour, no head. Very aromatic, dark fruity smells from all over. Very rich tasting, slightly alcoholic, very good.

Courtesy Beerlando. Pours a dark brown color with a small white head that leaves some sudsy lacing on the glass. The aroma is full of dark fruits, raisons, figs, candied sugar and alcohol sweetness. Hugely sweet profile from the nose. The flavors are just as sweet with the dark fruits, raisins, and figs dipped in caramel and alcohol. Really sweet and big on flavor with a good amount of heat. Medium-full bodied and syrupy on the mouthfeel that goes down very smooth with a long sweet finish. Pretty good quad here.

Bottle… Post RBSG ’08 O-Town/Vero Beach Throwdown Chapter 8… I got the dregs. Murky mahogany ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Earthy, beefy aroma with dark fruits, raisins, caramel and brown sugar. Well-hidden alcohol. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with supple carbonation. Sweet, dark fruit essences play nicely among vinous notes, praline and tons of residual sugar. Sweet, caramel finish. Thanks to Beerlando for providing the bottle!

On tap at Iron Hill West Chester. Pours a lightly hazy brownish amber with a medium off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, nuts, candi sugar, brown sugar and a touch of hops. Flavor was a match of the same with a touch of alcohol and some hops coming through. A well done "fresh" quad.

Courtesy Beerlando. Chestnut brown color with a thin light tan head. Plum, dark fruits, some apple on the aroma, a hint of Belgian yeast. Sweet caramel and plum taste, slight Belgian twang on the finish. Stays away from being overly sweet. Nice.

Muddy amber-red colour. Chewy, with light apricot, cherry and bubblegum. Very sweet and peach, with light gummy phenols. Smooth and sugary.

Pours clear, dark amber with a ruby hue. A two inch head of dense beige foam receded slowly, leaving behind plenty of smeared lacework. Aromatics lead off with ripe fruit, juicy malt, and grape jam. Some dark rum steps forward along with fresh raisins and marmalade. Creamy and sticky mouthfeel. On the thick side of medium bodied. Candied grapes and fresh malt start the pallet, with rum-steeped raisins following through. Hints of bubblegum, cherries, and figs step forward. Finishes with lingering grape jam, sweet malt, and warming alcohol. A very nice Quad. The alcohol is very well hidden, and does not seem anywhere near 10%. Plenty of the classic quad fruitiness, and not too sweet.

At Vero. Mahogany brown, slight haze. Hot, alcoholic, sweet nose. Sweet, candy and bubble-gum like. Nice, good palate.
