Bottled. A very dark amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of alcohol, and over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of over ripe fruit and alcohol. The alcohol makes the body very strong.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of kramer17801. Hazy, light brown with a small, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruit and sugar. Very full-bodied and a little low in carbonation. Plenty of sugars, caramel malt and a discreet touch of yeast. No bitterness whatsoever but a distinctly alcoholic finish. Nice alright but a little on the sweet side. 021107

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 15. Pours hazy brown with a fully diminished off-white head. Aroma is deep malty and deep dried fruity, quite subdued aroma. Flavour holds a nice fruity alcohol flavour. Ends with a full flavour of fruit and goes into a soft alcohol lifted finish. Has a slight bitterness blending in with a decent sweet malt flavour too this.

Muddy amber-red colour. Chewy, with light apricot, cherry and bubblegum. Very sweet and peach, with light gummy phenols. Smooth and sugary.

2007-11-02, Papsoe Blind Tasting, corked bottle
Hazy chestnut color. Mild caramel and malt aroma, with a light touch of overripe apple, almost fermenting into very light apple cider. Good body, very sweet, malty, a bit fruity, but not enough bitter. Warming alcohol. Pleasant (because I like sweet beers).

Cork Bottle. Cloudy deep mahogny colour. Sweet aroma with ripe fruits, toasted malt and alcohol. Very sweet siruppy, toasty, fruity, bit sour flavour. Dry sweet finish. Good but too sweet.
