Commercial Description:
This is a filtered American wheat beer, with a touch of natural raspberry flavor and aroma. Before you pass this one over because it’s a “fruit” beer, try it on a hot summer afternoon. Our brewers even admit it’s their beer of choice during those hot summer beer festivals.

Pours a hazy yellow with hint of orange. White soapy head with an intense raspberry aroma. Tastes of yeast, wheat, with hints of raspberry on the back side. Raspberry is more pronounced if the beer is held on yor tongue for an extra second.

aroma of raspberries, taste is initially wheaty, but the reasperries soon take over. It was a god blend, but I don’t think raspberries and beer seem to mix well.

Pours a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of sweet raspberryies. Flavor was much the same with a clean and crisp finish.

On tap at New Wales. Gold, with a white head. Sweet raspberry aroma. Raspberry flavor, but much drier than than the aroma leads you to believe. Long raspberry finish.

Better than most fruit-wheat combos. Aroma is ok and taste/finish are fairly satisfying. Not a top pick by any means, but it doesn’t have that artificial taste common in the style.

Draft at the West Chester location, July 2006. A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma has very powerful notes of raspberries and is very sweet - I find the raspberry note a bit artificial. The flavor is sweet with a bit weird, but very powerful raspberry note, on a sligtly acidic wheaty back ground. The end is dry wheaty with an artificial note of raspberries lingering.

Pretty good, but had the sweet, artificial tasting raspberry thing going. I think I like my wheat beers without fruit, or at least a much subtler flavor.

I think this was my favorite from the sampler, I don’t know if it was because it was freakishly warm in the bar or what but I enjoyed it. It pours gold and has a wonderful sweet raspberry aroma. The flavor is a clean and crisp wheat with a touch of berry at the end. It was nice and smooth and really hit the spot.
