Commercial Description:
This is a filtered American wheat beer, with a touch of natural raspberry flavor and aroma. Before you pass this one over because it’s a “fruit” beer, try it on a hot summer afternoon. Our brewers even admit it’s their beer of choice during those hot summer beer festivals.

Jamlike raspberry aroma with some tart wheat character. Hazy pale blonde body is topped by a low, fine bubbled, white head that lasts well and laces. Raspberry sweet flavour with some mildly tart wheat character. Light body with fair carbonation. Sampled at Kennett Square Brewfest 2005.

Light. Almost refreshing, not quite. The Raspberry taste is overdone, distracting. Pulled in Newark, not recommended.

Pours a light golden color with a white head. As expected, the aroma is rasberries. Flavor is light with an sweet raberry flavor. More like a kool aid rasberry than most. Too much of this could’ve ruined the beer but it really quite refreshing.

North Wales location. Clear golden body with no fruit coloration. Aroma is of sweet raspberry syrup. Light flavor with less obnoxious raspberry than anticipated. Moderately sweet but drier than expected. Mild wheaty character with light tartness and a quick finish. A mundane fruit beer.

Poured a hazy golden color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet rasperry and a tart wheatiness. Taste was very bland, sweet raspberries, grains and a sweet maltiness. Rather forgettable.

Draught sample at Iron Hill, West Chester. Bitter tart raspberry aroma, acidic and a bit sourish. Raspberry concentrate or flavoring rather than fresh raspberries was used, and that is telling. Hazy dull gold with almost no head. Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with acidity and sweet tart raspberry flavor. No strong wheat profile, but is American wheat. Mild malt. Fruity and a bit dull overall with light funkiness. After is mild and chalky fruity, medium bitter.

Rejoice your mom can put down that berry flavored Zima and finally drink beer at Iron Hill. This was nothing more than a standard lager with some raspberries thrown it. Some malt presaence. Eh keep on moving.
